I just wrote a post on my personal blog about how I am pretty (very) tight with my money but that I am extremely willing to pay more for ethical animal products. http://www.girlwithamortgage.com.au/spending-money-meat/ In Australia I think it is a very small minority that will pay more though, which is quite crap. The meat industry has disconnected people for too long about where meat comes from, which makes consumers see only dollar signs when they go into the supermarket. I hope this is true.
