The Baldwins have been farming for nearly forty years in the piedmont region of North Carolina. They purchased their first Charolais heifers in 1969, and have been building their herd – and their genetics – ever since. The Baldwins originally started as breeders, but “quite by accident” got into raising grassfed beef when they decided to market surplus stock themselves. The feedback was so good they decided to start a business selling grassfed beef.
