A.D. Jones raises pastured pigs in Chinquapin, North Carolina. A.D. works closely with fellow Animal Welfare Approved farmer and NC Natural Hog Growers Association (NCNHGA) President Jeremiah Jones, and is himself a member of the NCNHGA. The two friends market some of their pork through Lockwood Folly Marketplace, a specialty food and gift store in Supply, North Carolina.

The newly opened store features produce, meats, dairy products and artisanal goods from North Carolina’’s finest growers and craftspeople. A.D. is an experienced farmer, and has been raising pigs on pasture for many years. His pigs are raised with no added hormones, only medicated when necessary, and are given the space and environment to exercise their natural behavior.
