Albert D. Jones Farm – Chinquapin, NC

A.D. Jones raises pastured pigs in Chinquapin, North Carolina. A.D. works closely with fellow Animal Welfare Approved farmer and NC Natural Hog Growers Association (NCNHGA) President Jeremiah Jones, and is himself a member of the NCNHGA. The two friends market some of their pork through Lockwood Folly Marketplace, a specialty food and gift store in Supply, North Carolina.

GrassRoots Pork Company – Beulaville, NC

GrassRoots Pork Company is owned and operated by Jeremiah and Jessica Jones in Beulaville, North Carolina. Jeremiah has a history farming, and has earned multiple degrees at NC State’s Ag Institute. He is also the president of the NC Natural Hog Growers Association (NCNHGA), a group of farmers dedicated to low-impact pig husbandry.

White Oak Pastures – Bluffton, GA

The Harris family has raised cows on their Georgia land for the last five generations. Cows at White Oak Pastures eat grass on grass, and are never confined to a feedlot. Harris’s beef recently won the Grand Prize in the Flavor of Georgia Contest.
